An Article about TES
The Exploration Society – Discovering New Ways to See the World
Have you ever wanted to have lunch on the Great Wall of China or be nose to nose with a polar bear but didn’t want to go at it alone? The Exploration Society wants to make that your reality.
The brain child of two Betty Maclean Travel Consultants, Jen Mitchell and Cassie McMillion, The Exploration Society was created to bring travel enthusiasts together. “We know that there are travelers in our area that are looking for exciting destinations and new adventures but want to share these experiences with new friends”, says Mitchell.
Travelers and explorers will benefit from the vast knowledge of our destination experts, creative itineraries that are driven by Society members and our expansive, world-wide access. The Exploration Society is focused on the traveler who desires a custom trip to exotic destinations and exclusive experiences. The society’s concept makes it possible to take a trip with an intimate group consisting of couples and singles whose friendship they have enjoyed at these TES events.
The Exploration Society wants to encourage it’s members to dream big, share adventures and create stories. When asked why she wanted to form this group, McMillion quoted St. Augustine, “ ‘The world is a book and those who do not travel only read one page.’ I want to finish the book.” she said.
If you or someone you know has a passion for travel, please contact ExplorationSociety@BettyMacleanTravel.com for more information and details on upcoming events.
